When I first designed AudioDice, the goal was to embrace unpredictable results.
With version 1.2, I wanted to bridge the gap between pure randomness and intentional control. This update introduces feature requests I’ve been working on to integrate AudioDice deeper into your DAW’s automation lane.
Key Additions in 1.2
Automatable Macro Knobs: You now have access to 8 dedicated macro knobs (as seen in the update screenshot) to map and control parameters smoothly.
- Automation-Triggered Randomization: Instead of manually clicking to randomize, you can now draw automation curves in your DAW to trigger randomizations precisely when your arrangement demands it.
- UX Refinements: ‘Knob Mode‘ has been streamlined and renamed to ‘Learn Mode‘ (complete with a new student cap icon), and a new ‘scroll to active parameter’ setting helps you keep track of dense plugin architectures.
- Plugin management is smoother: opening the plugin list now automatically pulls the latest scan data from any active AudioDice instance on your system.
AudioDice 1.2 update is totally free.
